PSEG LI Summer Drive Receives More Than 1,500 Pounds Of Food Donations
Stop & Shop will place collection bins this summer at two additional Long Island locations.
UNIONDALE, NY — More than 1,500 pounds of food and other items were donated at the latest PSEG Long Island's Power to Feed Long Island collection drive event.
At the July 26 event at the Stop & Shop in Carle Place, $500 in cash donations were given.
In total, the food items donated are the equivalent of 2,500 meals for the Island Harvest Food Bank.

There are two more food collection events on Long Island.
Friday, Aug. 16: Stop & Shop, Oceanside (9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Friday, Sept. 13: Stop & Shop, West Babylon (9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
