A new pergola in front of Chico's and Sugarplum on Seventh Street has not only added seating for local shoppers but has further enhanced the downtown's ambiance.
Landlord Elias Properties built the structure.
"It looks absolutely beautiful. It gives us 20 more seats ... It's really attractive," said John Wilton, chair of the Merchant, Professional and Retailers group.
After a long day of downtown shopping, it's an inviting place to rest your feet or enjoy a cup of Joe from nearby Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks.
