Several Nassau Stores Face Shoplifters On Christmas Eve: Police
It's part of the police department's weekly crime report.
MINEOLA, NY — Ahead of Christmas, Nassau police report increased there was an increase in shoplifting at stores, including Target and Macy's.
Police also said in their weekly crime report that a man stole two Amazon packages from outside of a home in New Cassel on Dec. 19.
There were eight incidents of shoplifting on Christmas Eve. Three different women were arrested for shoplifting at the Macy's in Roosevelt Field, police said.

Arrested were also made for shoplifting at Nordstrom in Roosevelt Field and Target in Westbury, police said.
The crime report covers the period from Dec. 19 to Dec. 25.
