Meetings, Parking Permits Go On Sale This Week

Non-Resident Parking Permits: Beginning Monday at 8:30 a.m. non-residents can purchase parking permits from village hall for the Stewart Manor railroad station. Fifty-five permits are available and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for $250, which is payable by cash, check, credit card or money order.

WPOA Meeting: The next general meeting of the Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) is Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Homestead School. Special guest John Wilton, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Merchant Professional and Retail Group, will speak about the village’s business areas.

EPOA Meeting: The next meeting of the Eastern Property Owners' Association (EPOA) will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Golf Club Lane senior center beginning at 7:30 p.m. (POA board only)

BOE Meeting: The Garden City Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 8:15 p.m. at Garden City High School.

Village Board Meeting: The Garden City board of trustees will meet Thursday, Sept. 19, in the village hall boardroom at 8 p.m.
