Person Hit, Killed By L Train At First Avenue Station, MTA Says
L trains were brought to a halt as emergency responders operated at the scene.

GRAMERCY, NY — A person died after being struck by a train Tuesday afternoon at the First Avenue and East 14th Street L train station, an FDNY spokesman said.
The L train was suspended in Manhattan in both directions following the collision, MTA officials announced on social media. The collision occurred shortly after 12 p.m., MTA officials said.
