Launch the 2026 Jazz at Reid Castle series with an unforgettable evening celebrating the vibrant sounds of Brazil. This opening-night concert features acclaimed trumpeter Mark Morganelli and the Jazz Forum All-Stars performing the rich rhythms of Bossa Nova and Samba, inspired by their acclaimed double CD Brasil!. Set inside the intimate and historic Reid Castle at Manhattanville University, this kickoff event marks the beginning of a yearlong jazz journey highlighting the global influence and evolution of jazz.
Tickets for the Jazz at Reid Castle concerts start at $35 (advance ticket price) for General Admission. Advance purchase is recommended, as a limited number of single-show tickets will be available at the door for $40. Concertgoers may also purchase season tickets or premium packages, which include a private cocktail table, a bottle of Champagne, a charcuterie board, and a post-show private meet-and-greet. Tickets are expected to sell quickly due to the limited seating inside the venue.

CMS of Lincoln Center returns to The Purchase PAC with a program that celebrates the beauty and versatility of the violin.
Invented in the mid-16th century, the violin emerged as the stringed instrument of choice during the Baroque era, culminating with the concertos, chamber music, and solo works of J. S. Bach. Virtuosi such as Tartini added flair; Mozart, a proficient violinist himself, contributed sonatas on a sublime new level; and Beethoven, master of drama and musical prophet, paved the way to the future with new heights of expression for the instrument.
