Carpenter Apprenticeships Available
Skilled workers are needed by the State Labor Commissioner.

The Empire State Carpenters Apprenticeship Committee, based in Hauppauge,  is looking to recruit five carpenter apprentices, State Labor Commissioner Peter M. Rivera announced.
Applications must be obtained and submitted in person at the Empire State Carpenters Apprenticeship Committee, Carpenters Training Center, 270 Motor Pkwy., in Hauppauge from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Committee requires that applicants, be at least 18 years old, a resident of Nassau or Suffolk Counties for at least six months, have a high school diploma or GED, sign an affidavit stating he/she has the physical ability to perform the work required of a carpenter and other requirements.For further information, applicants should contact their nearest New York State Department of Labor office or the Empire State Carpenters Apprenticeship Committee at (631) 952-9555.
