The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
- Joseph Catalli, 25, of Shirley, was arrested in Hauppauge on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Catalli was on Route 347 in Hauppauge when police found that he had numerous plastic bags containing heroin.
- Daniel Francis, 21, of Hauppauge was arrested in Lake Grove on May 10 on a charge of petty larceny. Police said Francis took clothing from Smith Haven Mall.
- John Watral, 59, of Hauppauge was arrested in Hauppauge on a charge of driving while intoxicated on May 7. Police said Watral was driving east on Route 347 near Route 111 in a 2007 Mercedes when he stopped short and hit the vehicle in front of him, causing a crash.
