Crime Log: Police Say Man Arrested on DWI Was Speeding at 93-mph

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

• Kevin Mangin, 26, from Holtsville, was arrested in Hauppauge on a charge of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor on May 4. According to police, Mangin was driving a 2002 Ford eastbound on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 53 at approximately 2 a.m. Police reported that there was heavy damage to the front of his vehicle, which had two broken headlamps.

• Brenden Luna, 22, of Franklin Square, was arrested in Hauppauge on May 2 on a charge of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Police said Luna was clocked speeding at 93-miles-per-hour on the Long Island Expressway at Exit 55.
