Commack’s Arizona Bar and Grill was one of five businesses caught selling alcohol to a minor, police said, after conducting a sting operation on April 5 in the Town of Huntington.

Smithtown

A Patchogue man was arrested in Smithtown after he allegedly allowed people to take building materials from a business for roughly a year. Police said Ronald Bazoge, 45, was arrested April 6 stemming from incidents that occurred from July 25, 2011 to July 25, 2012. Bazoge was arrested on a third-degree grand larceny charge, a felony.

Police arrested a Lake Grove man after he allegedly stole rims, tires and radiators from a fenced property. Steven Hall, 36, of Lake Grove, was arrested in Smithtown on April 6 on a third-degree grand larceny charge, a felony.
Police said Raphael Diaz, 34, and Rene Delgado, 36, had a pump and tank used for gathering cooking oil in the rear of a car. Diaz and Delgado were arrested on April 2, each on a possession of burglar tools charge, a misdemeanor.
Kings Park

Police said a Kings Park man was driving drunk when he crashed into a utility pole while driving on Route 25A. According to police, Johnathan Roren, 40 of Kings Park, was arrested in Kings Park on March 20 for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Â Police said he was traveling eastbound on Route 25A at 6:26 a.m. when the crash occurred.

Two police officers were reportedly assaulted by a Kings Park man after they responded to a dispute between two neighbors. Police said Robert Hoffman, 44, punched both officers after they responded on April 1 to a call at 32-1 Main Street. Hoffman was arrested for second-degree assault, a felony and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

A Kings Park resident said a laptop, iPod Touch and handbag were stolen when a thief entered their home on March 21. According to police, the burglar entered the Indian Head Road home through an unlocked side window between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.

A resident of Westwood Avenue in Stony Brook reported March 29 at 11 p.m. that someone threw a mailbox onto the vinyl bed cover of a 2007 Toyota Tundra, damaging the cover.
A resident of Erik Drive in East Setauket reported March 31 that an unknown person called at 8:30 a.m. and attempted to pull off the "loved one in danger"Â phone scam against which Suffolk police have recently warned. The complainant was able to identify the scam and did not fall victim to it.
A man reported an attempted robbery in the parking lot of Kohl's in East Setauket on April 5 in which one man distracted him by asking for a cigarette while another man pushed him from behind and attempted to steal his wallet.
