Free Slurpee Day At 7-Eleven

Today is July 11 and 7-Eleven is once again celebrating the date by giving away free Slurpees.

This year, however, patrons picking up a free frozen drink at their local 7-Eleven will be treated to a larger size.

According to a report in USA Today, the nation’s largest convenience store chain is replacing its 7.11-ounce freebee given away in past years with a 12-ounce Slurpee.

Local residents can cool off today with a free Slurpee from any of the area's 7-Eleven locations.
