Hauppauge School Budget Preview For 2024-25
See what's on the ballot, including the school budget and school board candidates, before you head to the polls on Tuesday.
HAUPPAUGE, NY — Hauppauge residents are set to head to the polls on Tuesday, May 21.
The vote is scheduled at Whiporwil School from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Hauppauge School District's proposed spending plan for the 2024-25 school year is $133,216,224. That's a 3.48 percent increase from the current budget. The tax levy is $96,686,000, or a 3.38 percent increase from last year's.

The school board has two open seats. Brian Michels and Catherine Collins are running for the positions.
The seats were previously held by Colleen Capece and Gemma Salvia, who are not seeking re-election.
