150 Firefighters Battle Massive Long Island House Fire
One firefighter broke his foot battling the blaze on Sunday morning, police say.

It took about 150 fire personnel to help extinguish a blaze that destroyed an Old Westbury home on Sunday morning, police say.
According to authorities, the fire took place on the grounds of the Glen Oaks Club, located at 175 Post Road, around 5:06 a.m. Police say the fire began on the outside the home, just left of the front door.
The Westbury Fire Department responded to the blaze and with help from surrounding fire departments used 12 pieces of apparatus and 150 personnel to take down the flames.

The home was severely damaged as a result of the fire. All occupants of the home were able to exit safely, police say.
One Westbury firefighter broke his foot and was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injury.

The fire was deemed accidental and the investigation is closed, police say.
