5 Were Selling Illegal Marijuana Products From Stores: Nassau PD
Police say the employees were selling illegal THC from stores across Nassau County.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Nassau County police arrested five people working in stores in multiple towns for illegally selling marijuana products, police said.
According to police, Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives conducted investigations at multiple businesses in Nassau on Tuesday. Police say Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a marijuana derivative, was illegally being sold at four of the stores.
At Eastwind Exotic Vape Shop, located at 27 Jackson Ave. in Syosset, police arrested Mohammed Salem, 25, of New Hyde Park, and Shaafal Nasser Ali Ahmed, 41, of Brooklyn.

At Vaporville, located at 132 Woodbury Road in Hicksville, police arrested Matthew Flax, 45, and Toby Flax, 74, both of Syosset.
At 7 Leaf Clover, located at 92 Old Country Road in Westbury, police arrested Jennifer Babaian, 40, of Glen Head.

Police say that they also recovered a large amount of marijuana at Eastwind Exotic Vape Shop.
Salem and Ahmed are charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and first-degree criminal possession of cannabis. Matthew Flax is charged fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Toby Flax and Babaian are charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
All five are scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.
