Car Crashes Into Hicksville CVS, Runs Over 'Santa'

Santa down: A driver was injured after their vehicle crashed into a CVS Pharmacy in Hicksville on Friday afternoon.

According to fire officials, the driver of the Honda crashed into the store, located at 202 West Old Country Road, and knocked over various Christmas merchandise at 2:10 p.m.

No one inside the store was injured. However, a Santa decoration was knocked down by the vehicle. The Hicksville Fire Department arrived to the scene and crews removed the car from the building.

The building department was called to inspect the structure.
