Driver Crashes Car Into Nassau County House On Saturday Night

A home was heavily damaged after a driver lost control in Hicksville.

HICKSVILLE, NY The driver of a Mustang lost control and crashed into a house on Woodbury Road and Pollock Place last night around 5:30 p.m., according to officials with the Hicksville volunteer fire department. The vehicle overturned after crashing into the unoccupied home.

Two people in the car were injured in the crash. Volunteer firefighters from Hicksville along with other emergency responders arrived on the scene. Fire Department technical rescue teams from Bethpage and Massapequa responded to stabilize the home. The Town of Oyster Bay building department was also called to inspect the heavily damaged home.
