Drunken Driver Hits Cop Car in Nassau; 2 Officers Hurt: Police
The woman rear-ended the police vehicle on Wednesday night, police say.
Two police officers were hospitalized after a drunken driver struck a police vehicle in Westbury on Wednesday night, authorities say.
According to police, Annamarie Siederman, 31, of Wantagh, was driving a 2011 Volkswagen on Old Country Road when she struck the rear of a police vehicle that was conducting a traffic stop at 10:05 p.m.
An investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police say. Siederman was arrested without incident and charged with DWI.
