Dryer Causes Blaze In Cambridge Court Apartment Complex

Two apartment units were damaged from a dryer fire in Bethpage on Saturday afternoon, fire officials say.

The Hicksville Fire Department responded to a fire on Nicole Court, which is part of the Cambridge Court at Hicksville apartments, while out on another alarm at 12:29 p.m.

Firefighters were able to quickly stop the fire from spreading, officials say.

No injuries were reported.

Bethpage Ladder4 was also called to the scene. Hicksville Fire Chief Robert Telender Jr. was in command of the operation.
