HICKSVILLE, NY — The transformation of downtown Hicksville is one step closer to reality, as a developer on the project has purchased multiple buildings that will be converted into housing and shops.

Long Island Business News reported that Woodbury-based Questus Capital has purchased a string of buildings at 76, 80 and 82 North Broadway in Hicksville.

The developer plans to use the sites to build an apartment complex with 96 units and parking, as well as 3,500 square feet of retail space. The location is located near the Hicksville LIRR station.
