Translate On March 9th, the Hicksville Public Schools hosted the Aquatic Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Legislator of District 17, Rose Walker presented Board of Education President, Phil Heckler and Superintendent of Schools, Marianne Litzman with a Legislative Citation.  Former Board of Education Trustee, Kevin Carroll held the ceremonial scissor to cut the ribbon and was accompanied by Marianne Litzman in officially cutting the ribbon.  Additionally, in attendance were other members of the Facilities Committee, Marcy Tannenbaum, Dave Bell, Matt Calarco, Jean-Marie Serra, Paul Silverman, Linda Guierre, and Sheri Epstein. The event also included attendees, Gary Gonzalez and Brian Costello of Park East Construction. In addition, Jonathan Singer, owner of The Patriot Organization, attended the ceremony. The new Aquatic Center pool on display for visitors of the ribbon cutting ceremony. Beginning on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, our Board of Education meeting will now be in-person in the Administration Building Boardroom.  The meeting will also be streamed live via Zoom.  The Zoom video is for viewing only.  Members of the public who wish to address the Board must attend the meeting in person and fill out a community participation form with the district clerk.
