Nassau Man Broke Into, Robbed Two Businesses: Police
Police say the man robbed two businesses months apart, and was arrested two months after the last burglary.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A Hicksville man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two burglaries that occurred months apart, Nassau County police said.
According to police, at 1 a.m. on March 28, a man broke into the Circle K store at 125 Bloomingdale Road in Hicksville, stole cash from the register and fled.
Police say an investigation identified the robber as Scott Gilmor, of Hicksville. Police say Gilmor was arrested on May 18 after he was located in Hicksville.

According to police, Gilmor was also responsible for burglarizing a CardSmart store at 324 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset on Dec. 31, 2021.
Gilmor is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary. He was arraigned earlier today in First District Court in Hempstead and released without bail.
