Samsung Television Thief Caught On Camera: Police

A man was caught on surveillance footage stealing a television from Target in Westbury last month.

According to authorities, the man entered the store, located at 999 Corporate Drive, placed a Samsung television into a shopping cart, removed the security alarm and left the store without paying for the item on Saturday, Jan. 20.

Police say the man then left in an older-model, four-door, silver pickup truck.

Police described the man as white with a beard and mustache, medium build, and wearing a dark blue colored baseball style cap, a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and brown work boots.

The man is wanted for grand larceny.
