Police Release Photo Of Suspects In Slashing, Shooting Outside Nassau Nightclub

Police are looking to identify three men who were kicked out of the nightclub on Friday morning.

Nassau Police have released a surveillance photo of two men who are believed to be connected to a slashing and shooting outside a Westbury nightclub on Friday morning.

Police responded to a report of a large disturbance that occurred outside Oasis, located at 270 Post Ave., at 3 a.m. Police say a 24-year-old security guard was slashed in the face by one of three unidentified men who were ejected from the club.

Police say the three men are also suspected of confronting another 24-year-old man standing on the corner of Post Avenue and Belmont Avenue. One of the unidentified men, who was wearing a cast on his right arm, withdrew and handgun and shot the man in the back and shoulder area, police say.

Both men injured in the assaults were transported to area hospitals to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding these incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
