Stray Bullet Hits Van In New Cassel
Police say a nearby fight led to gunshots on Sunday morning.
Two men were loading equipment into their van when a bullet struck their vehicle in New Cassel on Sunday morning, police say.
According to authorities, the men were parked near Sherman Street and Prospect Avenue when they heard unknown people start to fight and the subsequent sound of gun shots at 2:15 a.m.
Police say one round went through the open passenger door of the van, breaking the side window.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
