HICKSVILLE, NY — The Town of Oyster Bay will be offering free, walk-up coronavirus vaccinations on May 4 and May 11 at the Hicksville Community Center.

The town will be administering the Moderna vaccine at the center, which is located at 28 West Carl St. in Hicksville, from 3 to 8 p.m. on both days. Follow-up appointments for a second dose will be made when you get the first shot.

"As many residents continue to roll up their sleeves and receive their vaccinations, we are pleased to be able to offer this convenience to our residents who may have not yet been successful in securing an appointment," said Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino. "Located conveniently in the heart of our town at the Hicksville Community Center, residents can just stop by and receive their first dose right on the spot."
