Westbury Fire That Broke Out In Winter Storm Under Investigation
One person was able to escape the fire with minor injuries.
Police are investigating a fire that broke out in a Westbury building during a winter storm on Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the fire appeared to start in the rear of On A Roll Dei, located at 242 Post Ave., at 1:04 p.m. One person was able to escape the fire with minor injuries. He refused medical attention at the scene.
Members of the Westbury, Hicksville and Carle Place fire departments responded to the scene and put out the blaze.

The Nassau County Arson/Bomb Squad and Nassau County Fire Marshall also responded to the scene. The cause of the fire was found to be undetermined/non-suspicious.
An investigation is ongoing.
