Belt Parkway Crash In South Jamaica Leaves 2 Dead, 4 Hurt
Two people died and four are injured after a driver rammed into a car stopped in the shoulder of the Belt Parkway in Queens on Sunday.
SOUTH JAMAICA, QUEENS — Two people died and four are injured after a driver rammed into a car stopped in the shoulder of the Belt Parkway in Queens on Sunday.
A 60-year-old man was driving westbound on the Belt Parkway by Rockaway Boulevard about noon on June 23 when he crashed into a 2015 GMC Yukon stopped in the shoulder, injuring six people, according to police.
Emergency responders rushed the six victims to Jamaica Hospital, where a 90-year-old woman was pronounced dead, police said.

The 60-year-old driver died two days later on June 25.
A 53-year-old man who was behind the wheel of the stopped car suffered a minor head injury, according to police. Two other women suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

There are no arrests. An investigation is ongoing by the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad.
