ST. ALBANS, NY — A motorcyclist died after laying down his bike and crashing into a parked minivan in St. Albans early Sunday morning, police said. Maurice Giles of Rochdale was speeding south on 197th Street near 119th Avenue around 1:25 a.m. when he lost control of the 1995 Kawasaki motorcycle, the NYPD said.
