2 Kings Park Boys Win Awards: 'Our Hearts Fill With Pride'

One received a certificate from the state attorney general's office, while the other earned a citation from the Suffolk County executive.

KINGS PARK, NY — Two boys within the Kings Park Central School District won awards, their grandfather, Nickolas Hunter, said.

Christopher Schor earned the Triple "C" Award, granted to him by the Office of New York State Attorney General Letitia James, in recognition of his courage, commitment and character.

Dylan Schor was awarded the Certificate of Achievement by Suffolk County Executive Edward Romaine. The honor serves as a testament to Dylan's classroom excellence and passion for public service. His achievement "sets a powerful example" for his peers, the certificate reads.

"Our hearts fill with pride when we think of our twin grandsons," Hunter told Patch. "You bring a special kind of happiness to our lives, and we are so grateful to be your grandparents and share in your incredible journey."
