• Meet Teddy Tedholm, of "So You Think You Can Dance" for an Open Contemporary Dance Class at Kings Park Dance Center on Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. Class is $10. 

• Boys are encouraged to bring their best shot to the CYO Boys' Basketball Tryouts on Tuesday and Wednesday at R.J.O.Intermediate School.  Tryouts for:  5th grade team -  6:15 p.m. on Tuesday,  6th grade team -  7:30 p.m.  on Tuesday.

• Kings Park Firefighters helped battled a deck blaze at a local home on Monday afternoon.
