Bicyclist Critically Injured In Suffolk Collision
The bicyclist was riding on the shoulder of the roadway when he was struck by a car, police say.
KINGS PARK, NY — A bicyclist was critically injured in a collision with a motor vehicle in Kings Park on Friday, Suffolk police said.
A 34-year-old Kings Park woman was driving a 2024 Lexus SUV southbound on Indian Head Road, near Manitou Trail, when she struck a bicyclist riding on the shoulder of the roadway at 11:58 a.m., police said.
The bicyclist, Christoper Conley, 64, of Kings Park, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The woman and her passenger were not injured, police said.
The Lexus was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information was asked to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
