Crime Report: Local Man Charged with Trespassing at Elementary School
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Robert Cassino, 18, of Kings Park, was arrested in Smithtown on April 20 and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.
Police said Cassino entered Accompsett Elementary School in Smithtown on April 20 at 4:55 p.m. through and open window and remained inside but did not take anything. Cassino was spotted by a school security guard who alerted police.
Brian Venti, 30, of Kings Park, was arrested in Centereach on April 11 and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Police said Venti was driving a 1993 Blue Toyota on Route 25 in Centereach and failed to maintain his lane.
