Chinese Auction
St. Johnland Nursing Center hosts their  12th Annual Chinese Auction and Restaurant Food Tasting fundraiser on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the center in Kings Park.  Over 80 large theme baskets and silent auction items filled with items for all ages and interests. 

Golf Outing

The Frank Ohman School of Ballet/New York Dance Theatre will host a Golf Outing on Monday at the Smithtown Landing Golf Course.  The event includes hot breakfast beginning at 9:00 a.m., 18 holes ("shotgun" start), lunch, photos, and a cocktail party/awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m.  Sports memorabilia will also be on hand.  Individual golfers or foursomes may register by calling 631.462.6266 or by visiting the website.  The cost is $225 per golfer or $800 per foursome.

Spring Gala

On Monday at 5 p.m. he Frank Ohman School of Ballet/New York Dance Theatre will host a spring gala "The Prodigal Son Returns" honoring ballet legend Edward Villella at the Smithtown Landing Country Club.  "Eddie" Villella, as he is most often called, rose to stardom in Balanchine's New York City Ballet where he was a principal dancer for over two decades.  Among his many acclaimed roles were those of "Oberon" and "The Prodigal Son", he is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Kennedy Center Honors and the National Medal of Honor.
