Music
Musical MomentsΒ will open its third season of free, live, outdoor events in Russ SavatPark on Main Street in Kings Park with a concert byΒ SnapΒ on Friday night at 7:30. This four-piece band was a big success at Musical Moments in 2012 and concert goers will have a second opportunity to enjoy their unique R&B, funk and dance music.

Festivals
The Kings Park Farmers MarketΒ is held on Sunday from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. in the municipal parking lot across from the firehouse on Main Street. - Try dancing withΒ free trial dance lessons at Kings Park Dance CenterΒ on Friday, starting at 10 a.m., including tap, ballet, hiphop, breakdancing and more.
- Tryouts for young tennis players ages 6- 16 who hope to get a scholarship toΒ Sportime Kings Park junior tennis programΒ are Sunday at 1 p.m.
Festivals
TheΒ St. Philip and James Church in St. JamesΒ will host its annual festival featuring rides, games, carnival food and more. Admission is free.

Sick of staying in and watching TV on Friday nights? Head over toΒ Kids Night OutΒ at the Mill Pond House Β on Friday , starting at 6 p.m. Children ages 7 - 10 can explore Watercolor Wonders , using watercolors as a medium to paint.
Smithtown Theatre presentsΒ βSnow White and the Seven Dwarfsβ this weekend at 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
National Flip Flop DayΒ at Tropical Smoothie Β promises free smoothies between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m on Friday. Proceeds benefitΒ Camp Sunshine, a year-long camp on Lake Sebago, Maine that supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Hop a trolly to theΒ Fab Four Garden Party.Β Four homeowners have graciously opened their gardens for this tour which will depart from Deepwells Parking Lot via Trolley. Β Trolleys will leave promptly at 1 p.m. on Friday and reservations are limited due to trolley capacity. Β The βFab Fourβ gardens have been chosen for their diversity and curb appeal. Β Each garden will feature live music and a known local artist at work. Β The artistsβ works will be available for sale at the evening cocktail party which will be held at a memberβs home in Nissequogue.
- Smithtown Theatre presentsΒ βBloody Bloody Andrew Jackson,β the story of Americaβs first political maverick and our seventh commander-in-chief with shows 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday.

Thereβs aΒ Super Star ConcertΒ at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack featuring several Long Island tribute bands Β Captain Jack Group, a tribute to Billy Joel; Almost Journey, a Journey tribute band; Beginnings, a Chicago tribute band; and 2U, a U2 tribute band; on Saturdy at 7:30 p.m.
