KP Alum & Plattsburgh LAX Player Honored on All-SUNYAC Team
Kings Park High School alum Tim Lawrence is one of seven members of the Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team to receive All-SUNYAC (State University of New York Athletic Conference) First Team nods.

Kings ParkΒ High School alum Tim LawrenceΒ is one of seven members of theΒ Plattsburgh StateΒ menβs lacrosse teamΒ who were honored on April 30Β as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced the 2013 SUNYAC Menβs Lacrosse All-Conference Team.
SUNY PlattsburghΒ juniorΒ Lawrence, along with Joey Kramer, Nick Travers and Ryan Phillips each received All-SUNYAC First Team nods, according to aΒ reportΒ onΒ PressRepublican.com.
Charlie Dullea and Brett McClelland garnered second team honors while Mike Lind was one of four honorable mention selections, theΒ reportΒ said, adding, theΒ seven all-conference honorees mark a program high for the Cardinals, which previously set the record with five last season.
In addition, Lawrence, along with Kramer, Travers and Phillips, join Kyle Norchi (2011) and Chris Hopps (2008) as the only Plattsburgh State players to receive first-team accolades, theΒ reportΒ said.
Lawrence receives the second straight all-conference award of his career as a member of the first team. A junior attackman, Lawrence is third on the team with 26 goals and 15 assists. He is the Cardinalsβ leading scorer in conference play, tallying 19 of his 41 points against SUNYAC opponents. In addition to his offensive numbers, Lawrence has picked up 32 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers,Β theΒ reportΒ said.
Lawrence lettered twice in winter track, three times in soccer and three times in lacrosse at Kings Park High School. He ranΒ winter track and was league champion in his junior and senior years and named all-conference in soccer as a senior, senior MVP and earned the coach's award as a junior
Lawrence was alsoΒ named all-league in track as a senior and earned all-county honors in lacrosse as a senior, leading the team with 68 points.
