No gas shortages as of noon in Kings Park.

Smithtown area gas stations started running out of gas on Friday, and locals bracing for the impact of winter storm Nemo took precautions in advance of potential power losses from the storm.
As of 11 a.m., the Hess Station on Route 347 and Mount Pleasant Road in Smithtown was drained of gas. The same was true at the nearby Gulf station at Route 347 and Southern Boulevard.
In St. James, the Gulf station on Lake Avenue only had premium fuel left, while nearby orange cones blocked the empty pumps at Smitty's fuel station.
