'Megan Has Excelled': Kings Park HS Graduation Shoutout

KINGS PARK, NY — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

Megan has excelled as a high school student in terms of academics; she has scored multiple grades of 5 on her AP exams, is one of the top students in her grade, and was accepted to all of her applied colleges. In addition, she was captain of her school's varsity Volleyball team. She did all of this while recovering from spinal fusion surgery early in her high school career.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

Megan's goal to move into the physical therapy field stems from both her spinal fusion recovery and her athletic background. Her academic success in high school has already provided her offers to various medical schools upon her undergraduate graduation.
