Mikayla 'Has A Heart Of Gold': Kings Park HS Graduation Shoutout

KINGS PARK, NY — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

Mikayla is graduating with many honors both academically and as an All State Trumpet player. She has been a member of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra for the past two years where she has played in Carnegie Hall. This summer she will be traveling with the orchestra performing in six cities in France. This fall Mikayla will be attending the University of Pittsburgh Honors College and the Swanson School of Engineering.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

Mikayla has a heart of gold and wants to share that with people who surround her.
