Red Mango Sales to Benefit Arthritis Foundation Saturday

Red Mango, at the Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack, near Kings Park, will hold a fundraiser Saturday to benefit the Long Island chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.

On July 13, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., 20 percent of all yogurt sundae and smoothie sales will go toward the foundation. The fundraiser is being put on by the Women on the Move organization, which works to create awareness about arthritis among women and to help cope with and prevent the disease.

According to the Arthritis Foundation, more than 60 percent of the nearly 50 million people who have arthritis are female.
