Women In Long Islandβs Past
Dr. Natalie Naylor, founding director of the LongΒ Island Studies Institute at Hofstra University, will discuss her new book,Β Women in Long Islandβs Past: A History ofΒ Eminent Ladies and Everyday Lives inΒ the Smithtown Libraryβs LongΒ Island Room on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
School Budget Vote
The annual school budget vote and board of education electionΒ for the Kings ParkΒ School District will take place on Tuesday from 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. Residents can vote at Kings Park High School in the rear gymnasium.
Build a Bug Cage
Β Build your own double-compartmentΒ bug house and study two speciesΒ simultaneously. This bug cage featuresΒ a wooden divider in the center and aΒ door on each end for easy access to bothΒ compartments. Monday, Smithtown Library, 5-6 p.m.
