2 Dead After Apparent Murder-Suicide On Long Island: Police
An apparent murder-suicide left two men dead on Long Island on Monday evening, Suffolk County police say.
LINDENHURST, NY — An apparent murder-suicide took two lives in Lindenhurst on Monday, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said they received a 911 call around 4 p.m. reporting an apparent death at 369 Nevada St. Upon arrival, they found Marek Gusciora, 66, a resident of the home, lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound to his chest and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Detectives then found Augustyn Jedra, 69, undomiciled, dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a vehicle in the parking lot of 455 Park Ave. around 5:10 p.m., police said.
