26 Student-Musicians Receive All-County Honors in Copiague District
The district announced the list of students on Monday.

COPIAGUE, NY — More than a dozen Copiague students are being recognized for their musical abilities.
The Copiague School District announced that 26 students have been selected to participate in the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association All-County ensembles.
The groups will perform at concerts on March 11 and 12.

From Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School, the student-musicians include: Hannah Alara (clarinet); Raisaun Gibson (trumpet); Daniel Kister (tenor); Mykelle Moore (soprano); and Linda Paiz (alto).
Students selected from Copiague Middle School include: Carolina Acosta-Rivera (alto); Katelyn Agtuca (percussion); Judith Bonilla (children’s voice); Kaitlyn Caldwell (clarinet); Sebastian; Chavez Minaya (baritone); Yvonne Coleman (alto); Alejandro Claros Sanchez (baritone); Dianna Espinal (soprano); Katie Gonzalez (flute); MacKensie Goodman (baritone); Alexandra Kaleka (clarinet); Veronica Karwowska (trumpet); Davi Malik (alto saxophone); Mya Lucia Nunez (trumpet); Elias Palacios (baritone); Isabella Rufrano (clarinet); and Gianna Viglione (baritone)

From the student-musicians include:
Carter Deegan (trombone) was selected from Deauville Gardens East Elementary School, and Damien Eldora (trumpet) was selected from Deauville Gardens West Elementary School.
Antonio Joseph (clarinet) was chosen from Susan E. Wiley Elementary School and Cole Sells (trumpet) was chosen from Great Neck Road Elementary School.
