Animal Shelter's Adopt-O-Fest is This Weekend
Take home a new friend or come down and help keep our furry friends happy!
The Town of Babylon Animal Shelter will be hosting Adopt-O-Fest 2013 this weekend to help raise money for the shelter's on-going operations.
The fundraiser will help the shelter to offset costs of spaying and neutering, feral housing, vaccines and heartworm treatments.
The event will include discounted adoption rates for both dogs and cats currently being housed at the shelter.
A bake sale, live music and a barbecue sale provided by the Babylon Village Meat Market will also be available during the festivities. Children's activities including face art and tattoos as well as raffles will be held.
The fun gets underway at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26.
The Town Animal Shelter is located at 51 Lamar Street in West Babylon.
