COPIAGUE, NY — Copiague residents have spoken.
The Copiague School District's proposed 2023 to 2024 budget of $170,023,070 with a budget-to-budget increase of $7,591,600 and a tax levy increase of 2.43 percent passed with 417 votes for "yes" and 198 votes for "no".
For race in the Board of Education, Brian J. Sales, who ran unopposed, obtained 407 votes and Seat of: Rosemary Natoli, also unopposed, received 431 votes.
