Cops: Citgo at S. Delaware & E. Hoffman Robbed at Gunpoint
Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Lindenhurst gas station on Wednesday night.
Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Wednesday night at a Lindenhurst gas station.
"The Citgo Gas Station at 195 East Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst was robbed last night at gunpoint at about 8:20 p.m. by a white male in his 40s who fled on foot," Inspector Gerard Gigante, commanding officer of the SCPD's First Precinct, told Lindenhurst Patch on Thursday.
The man, according to police, allegedly entered the gas station, and displayed a handgun and stole cash.

He was described by witnesses, police said, as being between 40 and 45 years old, and as having a thin build.
There were no injuries or damage, police officials noted.

"The First Squad Detectives are investigating all leads," said Gigante, who noted that anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS or the First Squad Detectives at 631-854-8152.
