Daniel Street Fifth-Graders Experience German Culture

Lindenhurst High School students visit Daniel Street Elementary School to teach a lesson in German culture and language.

Lindenhurst High School students in Richard Week’s class visited Daniel Street Elementary School to educate fifth-grade students about the German culture.

A brief lesson about numbers, days of the week and months was given by the high school students.

Students made cards using various German words, and learned how to sing Silent Night in the language.

“It was a great experience for all,” said Weeks.
