Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Melissa's ability to effortlessly infuse positivity into the lives of many, coupled with her unwavering strength and fortitude, is truly remarkable. Her commitment to championing a noble cause, from mentoring volunteers to orchestrating events that grant people an opportunity to revel in the beauty of childhood despite facing catastrophic illnesses, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Knowing that she has not only overcome a life-threatening illness, but also continues to thrive serves as a beacon of inspiration for me and all fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Melissa is a connector and she's super funny. If you want to smile, head over to a Kids Need More event.
