Jan. 7: What's Happening Around Lindenhurst
A PTA meeting and Zumba class kick off the start of the week.
The Harding Avenue Elementary School PTA meets tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Take part in the Zumba at Ukrainian Holy Family Church starting at 6:30 p.m. the class costs $5.
At the library, the Ice Cream for Books program is taking place all month. Designed for youngsters Kindergarten to 8th grade, participants should bring their folder to the children’s room weekly for prizes. Readers who make four visits will receive entry into a raffle.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency remains in place at the library from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Assistance for victims of Hurricane Sandy is being provided.
