Kids' ProgramHow is a water molecule similar to Mickey Mouse? Explore some of the properties of water using some “Magical Sand" at the LML today.

The Mysterious Water: Magical Sand program is for kids in kindergarten to fourth grade, and contains lots of "watery suprises," according to library officials.

There are two times: 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Video Game DesignJoin a knowledgeable teacher from Sharper Training Solutions, Incorporated, for this workshop at the LML today.

This program is an introduction to the basics of video game creation. Learn how to design a video game and write a program.

Participants will construct rooms and doorways, add a player, objects, textures, colors, lighting and more.They'll also compile the finished program, and learn how to make changes and correct errors.

This is for intermediate and advanced computer users who are fourth-grade graduates, up to 12th-graders.

It runs this evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Nicotine Anonymous MeetingAll are welcome to join the weekly Nicotine Anonymous Meeting at the LML tonight.

The meetings are held weekly on Mondays (except holidays) at 7 p.m. in the library’s small meeting room.
