LHS Educator Up for Teacher of the Month

Ms. Bruno, an AP biology teacher at the Lindenhurst High School, is up for KJOY's Teacher of the Month.

A teacher has been nominated for Teacher of the Month, for the month of May.

Ms. Bruno teaches AP biology at Lindenhurst High School, and she's one of six teachers up for the honor bestowed by Long Island's KJOY radio station in Garden City.

To vote for Bruno, parents, students, staff and residents could log onto the radio station's website here.

According to the KJOY website, the teacher who receives the most votes will win a class trip to the June 11 Long Island Ducks Game, and throw out the first pitch, courtesy of Learning RX.
